For the 2001-2002 school year, the School Services Unit of the Mount Holly Police Department has assigned Patrolman Jason Swan to work full-time with the Mount Holly Township School System. This assignment has increased the D.A.R.E. Programs to every level of the student body. Also, increasing interaction between students and the police will help both understand the needs of the youth today and that policemen are there to help young people with problems.

A second officer, Patrolman James Harper, has been assigned to the Rancocas Valley Regional High School full-time. Patrolman Harper will continue to increase the part-time T.E.E.N.(Truancy-Education- Enforcement-Nurturing) Program to full-time. The T.E.E.N.
